Admin rights work, thanks
-
do this another way
-
Thanks I will look to do thin another way.
-
Thanks Kevin, I somewhat expected this. There are 1000s of cells, as a result of the requirement I am implementing, but this will work well enough if I re-apply the prompt. This feature is so good for what I am trying to achieve that it is worth th…

Too early in the morning. And the heat is getting to me.
-
Cheers thanks.

OK, are these SRP properties or OI properties. Basically I am looking to figure out what to enter here, as there is no dropdown.
-
Dammit !!!! I had it on otherwise I cant see it. Is there a way to see the control in Form Designer and have the Border property off?
-
I am using OI9.4.0 (will update to 9.4.4), and SRP 4.1.4.5. The control in question is a dropdown listbox. The main window is a regular window. The controls are disabled via the form properties, but enabled/disabled as well in code based on circums…

Indeed I disabled my code which had the event OnClick, just in case it was doing something, but still has the same behaviour.
-
If I click in the blank area below the table, it scrolls up one line per click, then displays all lines, and repeats.
-
OK, no problem. Please add to a future release if at all possible.

Arghhh !!!!!!!!!!! Only been coding in OI for 30 years, commas are new to me :(

New form all works OK
-
Just tried that, still the same. I will deal with by starting the form from scratch and copying everything in. Thanks anyway.
-
Done that, all works OK, so it must be something in the form. I will have to recreate. Thanks
-
Just checked, none have border set.
-
Thanks Don, I will deal with this in my code.
-
I will try this with the remove function which has proven to be quick. I will give it a go here and report back. Thanks for the input.
-
First check seems OK, will put it to work and advise if any issues. Thanks
-
I think it depends on how you move around the screen. I just tested again and found it harder to replicate, but for weeks now it happens all the time. It seems to happen most when using the mouse to move vertically over the tree to go elsewhere, eg …
-
Thanks, I will do that. If you could also check out the issue for a future release, that would be good.
-
Fair comment, I will look at what I can do. I might just turn off the scroll facility. Cant see any vscroll property on the Panel which would allow me to put it back to the top on tab change. Funny thing also, another tab on the same screen scrolls…

Thanks Kevin, I see the difference. I will play about with the settings to get a suitable mix.

Status bar image attached, as you can see the left is OK. Code to create is below, hope its not my code :) * * Status Bar * Ctrl=@WINDOW:".STATUS_BAR" Qualifier=1:@FM:"2*ICEMATE*OLE*":Ctrl Call Send_Message(Ctrl,"QUALIFY_EVENT","ALL_OLES",Qualif…

I have obtained a copy of the database from the user, found the cause and resolved. The view was stuffed up, causing all the columns to have blank headings an zero width. 100% my side, no SRP issues at all. Closed.
-
You are correct. They do need to filter, but I was planning for that to be achieved by the cool group function. The user can then drag the columns to group, collapse and then deal with the data that relates. I use this with smaller amounts of data, …

Yes, that works OK now. It was OI on OI9 for some strange reason but OI8 had issues. I will advise if anything strange comes up.
-
I loaded this, and get this error on one of my applications. I will need to check. Do I need to install the Revxxx files via RDK Install as well, or just copy the DLL over.

Its working now, I am just looking to try and be more efficient, and use less third party tools. It seems as Windows is advancing, such tools are becoming more problematic.
