Thanks Don, all the more reason we need to start learning BRW.

Don, At first, it was specific to Run_Report, then it became, however, I could get it to work. Then I woke up and said duh. I can get to my end goal without running a report. I still love the idea of running a report (Generic) on an in-memory tab…

Never mind scratch that idea. I don't need to run a report on it. Got stuck on that idea for some reason. I can do what I need with SRP_HashTable_GetValues and format that and send that to the printer.

Kevin, how do you set an image for a background state? I have tried this and I just get a black box. Background = "" Background<1> = "D:\Brian\Revsoft\OInsight\BMPS\RW\WelcomButtonStates\BT_Rest.png" Set_Property(CtrlEntId, "OLE.Backgroun…

Thanks, Kevin that will save a lot of work. I never even thought of using multiple images in the background of the button as the examples where all with color fills so that is where my mind got stuck. Although I could do the glow with a color fill. …

Don, thank you for the advice and I will do my best to keep my pride out of the way. (: After 10 years in an industry that mocked you for your ignorance you tend to be more cautious. But that is a conversation for elsewhere. Sorta Back on topic Th…

Thanks again for bearing with me. Now that I have a better understanding of what I can and can't do it makes it easier to move forward. No more fighting with z-order and tab order. :)

Am I correct in assuming that I can't layer pictures within a picture control either? For example, have one as a background and then a smaller one in the foreground. Are there plans to support SVG image formats?

1. I guess I don't want to anymore lol. My goal was to use an image behind a button to add a shadow type of effect to it (more complex than just a shadow). But wouldn't affect the size of the button so when hovered over it only the button (not the s…

Frank, Thanks again. I will get it updated to 16.0.13 as soon as I can and go from there.

Frank, Thank you for your response. 1. No worries easy enough to change it in the XML record. 2. I will be honest I never even looked to see what was in the SAMPLE window I was opening I just knew the issue could be duplicated there. I was unaw…

The restrictions of the predefined themes may be a blessing in disguise as now I don't have limitless options in front of me. Thanks for the further explanation and I will have to have a look at the Theme_Services.

Thanks Kevin. Same subject but not FrameWorks related directly. If I set the theme to System are there enough properties to be able to effectively theme the window or am I better off just redesign my color scheme off of one of the preset themes?

I rolled everything back to before I tried installing SRP FrameWork and started from the begging. This time when it asked me "Where are the application update files", I typed in the same location I did in the RDKInstall. This seems to have been wh…

Disregard my statement about the test Ribbon not working I had pointed them wrong the test ribbon does work with the 32-bit images. I put a \ at the beginning of the image address in my xml file that shouldn't have been there. I rushed the test …

Kevin and Corby, VirtualBox appears to use its own connector as on the host machine there is no RDP task running. But I did go through the steps that Corby laid out to no avail. Also to test the theory that it is a 32-bit color depth issue I creat…

Kevin, The host computer is Windows 10 Pro 64 bit Creators update, and the VM is Windows 10 Pro 64 bit with Fall creators update. The host computer and the VM are not sharing any files associated with RevSoft or OI.
