actually, while this function doesn't work, i don't think that's the issue. This function is in part of the code that has probably never been reached before and it's therefore never been tested. I think i will just try to find out why the code is ev…

is it possible to turn this back to source code?
-
it looks pretty, but not sure what this means:
-
hmm this is unfortunate, as a core part of the business doesn't work anymore lol. oh well.
-
ok, the dll is called ieframe.dll and it's on the user's computer, so it's not that...

I upgraded the 5 users who use windows 10 to the latest OCX, and I put it on their hard drives. So maybe that's why they don't get this error anymore, and not that the OCX is the latest. Anyway, i think that OI also sometimes crashes when the use…

Hi, I think you'r re right. I've been thinking the same thing. Every since I upgrade to the latest OCX, we haven't seen the above error message anymore. But we are still seeing an error message, which looks like this: Windows cannot access the fi…

Well, we are having a lot of issues with windows 10. For example, oi randomly crashes for people with windows 10. I have no idea why it's happening. At first i thought it was because we were using an outdated version of your controls, but we upgra…

yeah i know, i read your doco. But that's how our system was setup. It's not too late the change, let's see if we can change it.
-
but yeah don't worry too much about it, it's not a big deal, it's just something I noticed. I will try to get a small example when i have time.
-
yeah it's over a network Both the .ocx file and the image are not on the user's computer.
-
yours is fast
-
ok so it's more complicated than I though. Let me try to make a minimal working example. thanks
-
hi, this is the image:
-
hi, ok we did upgrade to 4.13 and it's still happening.
-
hi, no it's not a large image. Ok i will try to get the team to upgrade, and we will see if that fixes it. Thanks
-
The version we are using is 3.1.0. I know it's out of date, and your first suggestion will be to update lol but that's not possible at the moment.

"We've had to write our own utility that knows how to ask who owns the lock and then we can send a request to release the lock. This has been useful for when access to the database server is limited or when the UD Manager locks up when there are lar…

Oh, it's not a LIVE chat. It's more like an email chain. "I'm still not sure I get how the OI listbox would accomplish your presentation goals. What would you do if a user's message was longer than the width of the listbox?" I was going to start…

@donBakke I am trying to see who has a lock. In the business I work for, an unknown person holding a lock on something can be catastrophic, and we had a nasty case of this happen last week. At the moment, we track in an mfs whenever someone locks…
-
yes, it was for list box. oh well.... basically i am trying to display a chat between multiple people, and i want the user ot be able to close and expand a user's contribution to the chat/see where one person's contribution starts and ends. i wil…

@barrystevens I am just going to go with the push and pop thing that don suggested, but thanks. @donbakke ok no worries. would be good to be able to see it. oh well.
-
I am referring to this: https://wiki.srpcs.com/display/MFS/Local+Lock+Table
-
ok that is good. thanks i will try that. btw, do you know if it's possible for me to access the local lock table on a particular workstation?
-
ok oh well. i guess i will have to use another cursor to select all of the keys in a table.... I am trying to select all of the keys in a table inside of an mfs, so using cursor 0 will not work as it may already be in use...
-
when i declare it as a subroutine instead of a function, it doesn't crash, but how do i get the list of keys?
-
thanks
-
@MattCrozier i dont' really get this
-
for some reason, whenever i go to revelation's website, i get a virus pop ups lol... not sure what's going on there.
