Resize last column

I cant seem to resize the last column on the report table.
The property is set.

If I have say 10 columns and drag column 10 to position 9, I can then resize, and then drag column 10 back to 9 (ie reverse) and the column is then resized.

I am also having problem dragging column 9 to the end, possibly it is not recognising the last column properly.

A solution I might implement is to add a blank hidden column to the end, but maybe it is something I am doing.
Any ideas?

The behavior is by design because, by default, the table is fixed to fit the width of the control area. You'll have to set the HorizontalScroll property to 1 to allow users to resize the last column, but this will also allow them to resize columns beyond the width of the control.
