Edittable slowness

Client is having issues with edittable performance if the amount of data is over 64k/ 7000 rows. It takes at least 10 seconds to load and then is practically non-responsive. The List property returns data, but neither Array nor Invalue do.

OI 9.4.. non-databound grid.

Any thoughts?

    How are you populating the edittable control?

    Building an array (ICONVed) and Set_Property to INVALUE.

    Hmmm...that should be relatively quick, but of course mileage will vary based on different situations. Have you tried to just use the INSERT method instead?

    It doesn't sound like this applies to you, but this Sprezz article offers some advice if your edittable already has data.
