COMMON /DATE/ CURRENT_DATE
This common area value is being preserved between sessions of OI.
Start OI and set current_date to a value.
Close OI.
Open OI, current_date is still set to same value.
OI 9.4

    Testing in a clean copy of OI 9.4 fails to reproduce this problem. Is it possible a promoted event somewhere is setting this? Does your copy of OI connect to a Linear Hash server?

    Hmm, I don't think a promoted event is doing this. It does not connect to an LH server.

    Let me do some research.

    I concur. There shouldn't be any way for this memory to be held over to another session.
