Sending faxes from OpenInsight

Is it possible to send faxes from OpenInsight ?
From the user reference, i found RTI_SendFax function. I tried using that function but i think the function is not working.

Any suggestions / idea ?

Albert,

The times that I have sent faxes from OI have been either by using the built in Windows Printer called Fax. This requires the machine in question to have a modem device connected to an outside phone line, however. In addition to this, I have printed documents to a specific folder that a batch fax application was monitoring. The fax software would then pick up the printed document and make the fax.

Do you need to make a direct fax or can you go through a web service?

I ask because another idea is that you could run this through an Email to Fax service. I do not have personal experience with this, but in theory you could use SRP Mail to format your "fax" and send it via email through a service such as GoDaddy's Fax Thru Email or RingCentral Fax.
